Lesson Policies

Private Lessons are scheduled weekly.

Payments:

Payment for each student is due at the first lesson of the month. An automatic invoice will be emailed at the end of each month one week prior to the due date. Acceptable payment forms are check, and Paypal, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

Where:

Lessons are available both in-person and online. In-person sessions are held at my home studio in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, while online lessons are conducted via Rock Outloud.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Excused absences will be credited toward the following month. Lessons missed without notice or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will not be credited.

Lesson Tardiness:

Students who arrive late to their lesson will lose the missed time, as lessons cannot be extended to accommodate delays.

Sick policies:

In consideration of our family circumstances and the fact that lessons take place in our home, we kindly ask that students adhere to the following health guidelines:

◆ Students who are feeling unwell or have been exposed to seasonal illnesses such as colds, flu, or COVID-19 should plan to attend lessons online.

◆ If your student or anyone in their immediate household has experienced symptoms of illness or exposure to COVID-19 or the flu within the past 5–7 days, please opt for an online lesson.

◆ Students who arrive for an in-person lesson showing signs of illness will be asked to leave, and the lesson will be charged as scheduled.

◆ If your student is sick and needs to cancel their lesson, these cancellations will be excused, and a make up credit will be applied for lessons missed due to illness.

Inclement Weather:

Should we experience any inclement weather all lessons will be moved to virtual. Online lessons are currently being conducted on the Rock Out Loud Music Education Platform.
